Alison has 20 years’ experience specialising in the residential sector. During this time, she has led multi-disciplinary teams on all stages in the design and development of housing for registered social landlords, private developers, and contractor clients.
Alison has significant expertise in leading and managing large design teams on major residential projects. She enjoys articulating the requirements of multiple stakeholders, leading pro-active engagement strategies and delivering schemes to challenging programmes.
She has worked on many award-winning projects, including large scale mixed used masterplans, build-to-rent, sheltered housing and hotels and has been shortlisted in several international design competitions.
She believes that architecture has the power to improve lives and has a passion for sustainable design and regeneration. She has a particular interest in construction and the use of innovative techniques such as modular construction and Passivhaus.
Alison has written several papers on tall buildings and is a regular speaker at design and construction events throughout the UK and abroad.
Aside from work, Alison enjoys competitive swimming, running in the Peak District, and landscape painting.
