Grant is an AABC-accredited conservation architect who specialises in the sensitive restoration and redevelopment of historic and listed buildings.

Skilled at translating theory and design into practical and workable solutions, he is experienced at working on complex historic sites, including those considered to be ‘At Risk’.
Grant brings an innate understanding of a building’s condition and heritage significance, along with the views of key stakeholders, and from this is able to develop appropriate and exciting responses to revitalise historic buildings and sites.
He strongly believes that the individual and collective histories of people and places are a key aspect of his projects, and he incorporates an understanding of this into a collaborative approach to their delivery. He possesses a great balance of design skills, theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and is an integral member of the practice’s historic buildings team.
