Launched in early 2016 as part of the Forum for Built Environment (FBE) – the UK’s leading networking organisation for the property, development, and construction industries –the Manchester FFT offers social events designed to enable young professionals across a wide range of disciplines to develop their networking and business generation skills. Events range from pub quizzes to wine tasting to joint seminars with the FBE, including talks by senior figures in the regional business world.

In his role as Chairman, Grant will oversee the development and promotion of the FFT’s networking programme, and aims to introduce more CPD events to support members’ continued learning and career development.

Commenting on his appointment Grant said: “We launched the FFT with the simple aim of creating more social and relaxed opportunities for young professionals to hone their networking skills. In our first year, we have quickly established a healthy and diverse network, and we want to continue the good work moving forward.

“It’s a really exciting time for Manchester, and many of those that are part of the FFT today will be steering the city’s growth in the future. I’d encourage professionals to join the organisation, grow their contacts and develop the skills that will enhance their careers in the long-term.”
