Grace Avery nominated for Made in Manchester Award
Grace has been shortlisted in the Business Support Professional of the Year category.
Studio Manager, Grace Avery, has been nominated for Business Support Professional of the Year at this year’s Made in Manchester Awards.
A core member of the practice’s business support team, Grace has worked closely with the Board of Directors to steer the business through the pandemic, adapting quickly and efficiently to minimise the impact it had on the practice.
She is also a key member of the studio’s in-house wellbeing team, B:Well, working to develop and deliver a programme of events and activities that promote a culture of wellbeing and supports employees’ physical and mental health. Recently, this included organising a Wellness Week in response to Mental Health Awareness Day. Each day covered a different ‘pillar’ of wellbeing – mental, physical, social, occupational, and cultural – and included a range of events from a guided morning meditation to a lunch and learn with financial advisors.
Alongside this, she has also worked closely with senior staff on a project to develop the practice’s purpose statement and is currently playing a central role in the supporting the practice’s objective to become a more sustainable and equitable business over the coming years.
The Made in Manchester Awards celebrates the best of Manchester’s young business talent, up to the age of 35. This year’s event will be held at The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel on Thursday 3rd February 2022.
Grace manages and oversees daily operations in our Manchester and Leeds studios.
