Buttress is proud to support the inaugural Cowgills North West Homebuilder Awards.

To be held on Thursday 9th June, the award is the first of its kind in the UK and has been launched to specifically acknowledge the hard work being undertaken by SMEs to meet the region’s housing requirements.

All categories are open exclusively for entry by SMEs with the awards focusing on the work being completed by homebuilders and developers in the North West.

This year Buttress is the category sponsor for the Placemaking Award, which will celebrate schemes that have created a sense of place and that demonstrate a meaningful contribution to improved social and ecological outcomes with the intention of promoting peoples’ health, happiness and well-being.

The practice’s Managing Director, Gavin Sorby, has also been invited to take part in the event, acting as a judge for the awards.

The event will offer a different take on the traditional black tie and dinner format, taking a more casual and exciting approach. Held at Manchester’s iconic Albert Hall, unique and high-profile entertainment arranged for the evening, including television presenter, Jenny Powell, and legendary Haçienda DJ, Graeme Park.

Ticket and table sales are now sold out for general sale and are only available for those entering an award.
