We are delighted to announce that David Coulson and Kimberley Corrall have been promoted to the role of Associate.
David joined the practice as a graduate in 2002 and has since worked on a diverse range of projects across a broad range of sectors. Most recently, he has led the delivery of The Depot, a major mixed tenure, multi-generational scheme on Manchester’s Princess Parkway, and the development of proposals for Birkdale Retirement Village. In his new role, he will be responsible for growing the practice’s senior living portfolio, working with clients to develop design-led solutions to support living in later life.
Kimberley, a RIBA registered conservation architect, joined the practice’s heritage team six years ago. Over the past couple of years, she has developed expertise in community engagement and heritage-led high street regeneration and has been instrumental in the development of several Future High Street and High Street Heritage Action Zone projects. As Associate, Kimberley will continue to develop this stream of work across the North West and Cumbria.
In addition to their architectural roles, David and Kimberley are both part of a cohort of coaches within the practice and work with colleagues across the studio to support their personal and career development.
Commenting on their promotions, Managing Director, Gavin Sorby, said: “David and Kimberley’s promotions are testament to their ongoing hard work, appetite for growth and invaluable expertise.
"They have each delivered fantastic work across their key sectors and have made a significant contribution to driving the success of the business. I would like to congratulate them both on a very well-deserved promotion and look forward to seeing them develop in their new roles.”
