What our staff say...
Buttress is a progressive, passionate architecture studio which I have been fortunate to have been a member of for the last eighteen years. My role as Senior Architect has provide me with involvement across a diverse range of project sectors and building types throughout the UK.
The ethos of the studio provides wide participation across projects, management, and the opportunity to have your say in the future direction of the company. The studio atmosphere is warm and friendly with plenty of engaging activities and forward-thinking initiatives which contribute to support of all staff and their personal development.
Over the years I have benefitted from a flexible working environment which has enabled me to develop my career without a detrimental impact upon time with my family and other personal commitments. Many of my colleagues pursue external interests connected with their roles in the studio, with the support of the Directors. This enables individuals to seek new opportunities which are mutually beneficial to both the practice and their own personal development.
