Gemma Copp named LandAid Ambassador of the Year

Since joining Buttress, Gemma has been involved in a number of large residential masterplan schemes, including Collyhurst and Back of Ancoats, as well as housing projects such as Eliza Yard and Greenhaus.

In 2018, she was nominated for an RIBA President's Medal for her master's thesis, 'The Phenomenology of Architecture', which explored achieving wellbeing through positive experiences.

Gemma is passionate about ending youth homelessness and is an Ambassador for LandAid, working with those within the property industry to help provide emergency accommodation for 16-25 year olds facing homelessness. In 2022, she was named Ambassador of the Year at the LandAid Awards. Gemma also helps lead the work experience programme within the Manchester studio, working with schools and colleges to support student journeys.
