Chorlton Villas

A private development of flexible family homes, situated around a communal green.

Residential
  • Situated in Chorlton, South Manchester, Chorlton Villas is a new development of 28 family homes laid out around a landscaped green, and looking out over the adjacent golf course and the Chorlton Eese nature reserve.

Designed for Step Places, these custom build, flexible houses are designed over three storeys with private amenity spaces at ground floor, first floor and roof terrace levels to maximise opportunities for indoor/outdoor living.

The design philosophy is a contemporary re-interpretation of the area’s existing villas and town houses. A limited palette of materials serves to complement the site's semi-rural setting and adjacent houses. Vertical timber louvres add to the aesthetic and provide a sense of privacy and added security for the residents.

Internally, each property has a bespoke interior, allowing potential residents the greatest flexibility in use, from the arrangement of the bedrooms to deciding which floor will house their living space.
