We are pleased to announce that Edward Kepczyk has been promoted to Associate.
Edward joined the studio in 2018 bringing with him experience of working on a number of high-profile conservation and restoration projects across the UK.
Since then, he has played an integral role within our heritage and ecclesiastical teams, working on projects that include a flagship programme of conservation work to Grade I Lincoln Medieval Bishops’ Palace for English Heritage, the RIBA Award-shortlisted restoration of Wythenshawe Hall, as well as overseeing repair and reordering work to a number oflisted churches nationwide.
Edward has also been key in introducing several wellbeing initiatives across the studio, after qualifying as one of the practice’s Mental Health First Aiders last year.
He is also a member of SPAB, a full member of the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association, and a Churches Conservation Trust Term Architect.
Gavin Sorby, Managing Director, said: “This promotion is well deserved recognition for the impact Edward has made on the practice since joining just two years ago. His enthusiasm and commitment has seen him secure and lead several important commissions for our heritage and ecclesiastical teams. To each project he brings an innate ability to get to the heart of the brief and deliver considered and well executed design solutions, often within complex historic contexts.
“I join the rest of the Board in congratulating Edward on his promotion and we wish him continued success as he takes on this role.”
