Buttress is pleased to announce that we have been listed in this year’s AJ100.
Produced annually by the Architects’ Journal, the AJ100 is the definitive list of the UK’s top 100 practices, based on the number of qualified architects employed.
The announcement follows a number new appointments and project successes for the practice.
Earlier in the year, we announced that we had been appointed to rebuild the Royal Clarence Hotel in Exeter, adding to the practice’s growing hotel portfolio. This month, the recently completed Timekeepers Square won the Manchester Architects Multiple Residential Award (built) and was shortlisted for the prestigious Building of the Year award.
The next few months also looks set to be an exciting time for Buttress. Our new boarding house for Wycliffe College and the redevelopment of the Welsh Baptist Chapel in Manchester are nearing completion, while conservation work is starting on Lincoln Cathedral, as part of a £11M HLF project.
The full list was revealed at awards dinner held on 15th June at the The Tower of London.
