Buttress to attend Museums Association Conference
18th October 2016
-
Buttress is to attend this year’s Museums Association Conference.
The practice has extensive experience in the design and delivery of museum projects across the UK. We have recently completed the redevelopment of Norton Priory Museum and Gardens and we are currently involved in the development of new museum for Blackpool, which will be housed in the town’s historic Winter Gardens.
Alongside our architectural services, we provide condition surveys, conservation plans, feasibility and options appraisal, support for stage 1 & 2 HLF applications, and we work closely with integrated museum and exhibition designers to create new visitor experiences.
We also have specialist knowledge in the conservation and restoration of historic buildings, with experience handling high-profile listed museum buildings and historic sites.
The conference will be held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow on 7-8 November.
If you are attending the conference and would like to arrange a meeting find out more about our experience in the sector, please contact Stephen or Neal or visit us on stand 1:
