Regeneration specialists, Galliford Try Partnerships North West, has won two awards for the Brunswick Regeneration scheme at this year’s Inside Housing Top 60 Development Awards.
The project, which is transforming an area of Ardwick in East Manchester, was awarded ‘Regeneration Scheme of the Year’ and was also named ‘overall winners’, making it top of Top 60.
Delivered by the S4B consortium, a joint venture between Galliford Try Partnerships, Equitix, Mears and Contour Homes, the scheme will provide 522 new homes, a 60-bed sheltered accommodation, new retail units as well as improved neighbourhood design. An existing 650 local authority houses are also being refurbished.
Buttress is providing a range of services across each phase of the regeneration project, including strategic masterplanning, as well as the design and delivery of all of the new build aspects. The practice has also provided designs for the refurbishment and reversal of existing housing stock.
The project is being delivered over a 25-year period and is due to complete in 2023.
