Ten members of staff are supporting the next generation of architecture professionals by taking part in this year’s RIBA student mentoring scheme.
This is the fourth consecutive year Buttress has supported the mentoring scheme, which sees those working in practice paired with undergraduates at participating schools of architecture.
Those taking part in the scheme will be working with students from the Manchester School of Architecture, the University of Sheffield and the University of Huddersfield to deliver a series of mentoring sessions.
The sessions will give students the opportunity to gain an insight into working life at the practice, have their CVs reviewed and follow a current live project. They will also provide the students' with practical preparation for their year out, helping ease the transition from academic study to professional life.
